〰The public relations office of the IRGC Imam Reza said in a statement that two Basij members of Mashhad al-Ridā, named “Seyed Sajjad Alavi” and “Mehdi Honarmand,” who were patrolling in the vicinity of Safarazan Square in Mashhad, at a distance of about 15 kilometers from the holy shrine, were targeted and “martyrdom”ed.

Also, in this incident, a pedestrian was injured and transferred to a hospital.

This comes while yesterday, Amirollah Shamqdari, the security deputy of the governor of Razavi Khorasan, had said that the shooting incident on Safarazan Boulevard in Mashhad was not terrorist and was a personal dispute!
