🔶 Iran Human Rights Organization: Imminent risk of execution for Eisa Chari, political prisoner

The Iran Human Rights Organization reported on Saturday, 3 Mordad (25 July) that Eisa Chari, a political prisoner, after being transferred to solitary confinement before the execution of the sentence at Qezel Hesar Prison, has been placed in imminent danger of execution.

According to this report, Branch 23 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran has sentenced Eisa Chari to death on charges of “membership in the Iranian Mujahideen Organization” and “action against national security.”

The Iranian Mujahideen Organization is an organization that the Islamic Republic considers illegal.

A source familiar with the Iran Human Rights Organization said: “Eisa Chari was arrested in Azar 1404 in Qarchak for vandalizing a sign belonging to the IRGC.”

Based on reports by the Iran Human Rights Organization, 37-year-old Eisa Chari, a Baluch, was the father of two children and worked as a poultry farm laborer in Qarchak.

This Norway-based human rights body says that Islamic Republic officials, since the beginning of 1405, have announced the execution of the death sentence of 10 political prisoners on the charge of connections to the Iranian Mujahideen Organization.
