Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, had reported on Friday that the price of eggs had increased to 480,000 tomans per tray—showing a jump of 80,000 tomans over just two weeks. A leap that has further widened the gap between the official incomes of workers and the minimum costs of living.
