Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s foreign minister, admitted during an interview—part two of which was published on Friday, August 2—that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ attacks on countries in the region, including Bahrain and Kuwait, were carried out with coordination from Iran’s foreign ministry.
Araqchi, in an interview with Javad Moghimi, the producer of the program “Narrative of War,” referred to Iran’s attacks on countries in the region before the announcement of Islamabad’s memorandum of understanding, and said that “during the war and after the war,” Iran’s military institutions and the foreign ministry had been coordinated in choosing the targets and the scope of the war.
