Hassan Rouhani, in criticizing the performance of the IRIB, said that if the national media, instead of engaging in a gentle and ethical dialogue, becomes a place for creating division and securing the interests of a small group, people will distance themselves from it.

He said that this distancing is not only limited to ordinary people and that “from the president to ordinary individuals in society,” they may no longer want to watch or listen to this IRIB.

Rouhani emphasized that all government bodies must speak to the people in a gentle and ethical language; otherwise, the podiums will lose their audiences and their presenters will be left alone.
