Hasan Yarī believes that in the past 47 years, no clear definition of national interests has been provided in the literature of the Islamic Republic, and that the authorities, rather than defining national interests in terms of the welfare and security of the people, have looked for them in preserving the Islamic Republic system and ensuring the continued life of the network of its proxy groups in the region.
