Greece is under pressure from NATO and EU allies to supply Patriot missiles to Ukraine, while Kyiv is seeking up to 200 PAC-2 missiles from Greece’s Patriot systems.

The request comes after failed negotiations over the transfer of complete Patriot batteries.

Ukrainian officials believe that some of these 23-year-old missiles may be nearing the end of their service life, but that they are still usable.

One proposal is for Greece to sell the missiles to Norway, which would then transfer them to Ukraine. Athens has shown no indication of agreeing to this.
