🔻Governor of Gilan-e Gharb: the border of Zomar has been reopened

Hasmatrezaei, governor of Gilan-e Gharb, has announced the reopening of the Zomar border and the resumption of commercial activities from this border terminal.

Mr. Rezaei said: “Currently, the process of exporting goods from this border is underway.”

After a drone attack on the East-West oil pipeline of Saudi Arabia from Iraqi territory, the Iraqi government, three days ago (Saturday), closed border crossings such as Shalamcheh and Chazabeh, an action that led to “a 25% increase in the cost of transporting goods.”

Yesterday, the governor of Khuzestan said that the passenger terminals of these two border crossings have been reopened.
