Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said the United States has very firm control over the Strait of Hormuz, and ships carrying millions of barrels of oil cross this waterway every day.

Trump added that this operation is carried out without problems in most cases, and that U.S. forces bring down the drones that the Islamic Republic sends to counter them.
