Several U.S. servicemembers were wounded during Iran’s attacks on Jordanian bases this week.

Iran attacked at least two Jordanian bases this week, and as a result of these attacks, after striking U.S. facilities deployed at those bases, several U.S. servicemembers were wounded.

Several U.S. officials told CBS News that they spoke on the condition of remaining anonymous, because they did not have authorization to make public comments.

As of this moment, no reports have been published about casualties among Americans or Jordanians.

The severity of the wounds is also not known. U.S. fighter jets often use Jordan’s military facilities.
