U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Monday ordered Abbas Araghchi and all representatives of the Islamic Republic to leave New York immediately after the U.S.’ talks with the Islamic Republic reached a deadlock.

This move, considered a rare diplomatic rebuke, came after Qatar’s efforts to mediate failed.
