“Arifeh Eshiri,” wife of “Ahmad Eshiri,” one of those killed on 19 Dey 1404 in Dezful, joined the “One Candle, One Name, One Remembrance” campaign and lit a candle in memory of her husband and wrote: “Our part may be that we do not let their names remain silent.”
Ahmad Eshiri, 34, is among the victims killed during the protests of 19 Dey 1404 in Dezful; a city where at its entrances they have written: “Enter with wudu.” Why? Because in the war between Iran and Iraq, thousands of women, men, and children were killed in its streets and died beneath the rubble of destruction from the war.
