Abbas Araghchi, foreign minister of the Islamic Republic, said that the agreement on the leader of the Islamic Republic “was not imposed” and that the negotiation process proceeded based on the leader’s view. Araghchi said: “Wherever the leader insisted on a subject, the negotiating team accepted it, and wherever, after the team’s explanations, the text was revised, a new path was put in place.” Araghchi went on to call the agreement with the United States the best possible agreement.
