US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Reema Bandar Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador, in Washington, and in this meeting the two sides emphasized the need to strengthen regional security.

A spokesperson for the US State Department said that in this meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of continuing close coordination to enhance regional security.

In this regard, the Saudi ambassador wrote on the X network that during the meeting, the powerful and sustainable cooperation between the parties was discussed. She added that Saudi Arabia is eager to continue close cooperation with the United States on shared priorities.
