The UK commercial shipping watchdog warned on Thursday, 18 Tir 1405, about the likelihood of “deliberate hostile acts” against ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The “UK Maritime Trade Operations Centre” said that, given current conditions, a “deliberate hostile act” in the Strait of Hormuz is likely to occur. The route, under normal conditions, carries about 20 percent of the world’s oil and liquefied natural gas.
