The statement said: “The situation remains stable, and the national systems are at the highest level of readiness.”

Earlier on Sunday, the UAE National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority (NCEMA) had announced: “The air defense systems are currently countering a missile threat. Please stay in a safe place and follow the warnings and updates published on the official websites.”
