🔶 The United States was accused by Iran of “a clear violation of all parts of the agreement”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a statement published on Monday morning, 22 Tir (July 13), condemned in strong terms the United States’ attacks on Iranian soil and accused the United States of “a clear violation of all parts of the agreement.”
In the statement, it said: “While only 25 days have passed since the signing of the understanding to end the war, the American regime has openly violated almost all parts of that agreement and, by attacking Iran’s transport infrastructure, fishing boats and cargo lighters, as well as meteorological facilities and buildings, has committed the most heinous war crimes.”
In the statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, the United States was also accused of “open interference in the process of implementing Iran’s arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz,” and it was stated that this action has led to “the return of insecurity and disruption of international shipping.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic also warned the countries in the region that any participation and cooperation on their part in the United States’ attacks would turn them into “a legitimate target of defensive strikes by the Iranian armed forces.”
