👈 The Trump administration is considering a plan to install new permanent fences around the White House in order to increase security measures.
According to reports, the fences are expected to be installed at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue with 15th and 17th Streets in Washington, to limit public access and the holding of gatherings near the White House. The U.S. Secret Service and the White House will also be able to block these routes if security threats arise.
The move is described as part of the Trump administration’s security plans for his second presidential term, and includes making permanent the fences around Lafayette Square as well as carrying out several security renovation projects.
