🔶 IRGC Claims Responsibility for Drone Attacks on the UAE and Bahrain

After the end of a five-hour wave of U.S. attacks on Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps took responsibility for a deadly missile strike on two Emirati oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and claimed that “this illegal supertanker, after ignoring the warnings, was hit while shutting down its navigation systems and attempting to pass through a mine-laying route.”

In its statement, the IRGC said that the United States is inciting ships to “use an unlawful route” and that, in cooperation with the “invading enemy,” it will lead to damage and delays in reopening the Strait of Hormuz and in a global energy crisis.

The IRGC also claimed drone and missile attacks on Bahrain.

Citing the IRGC, state TV of the Islamic Republic reported that several ammunition depots, a satellite communications center, and a residential building of U.S. forces in Bahrain were targeted in these attacks.
