CNN published this report yesterday. Today, Parchin was hit by an explosion.
Text of the report:
New satellite images observed by CNN show a significant increase in activity at key military and nuclear sites in Iran; that too at a time when regional officials warn that Iran may be only a few days or weeks away from obtaining nuclear weapons.
Here, at the military site of Parchin near Tehran, you can see the changes. In February, this location was an excavated area with a concrete structure. But by June, the images show that three new tunnel exits have been dug into this mountain slope.
And by July—just a few days ago—it appears that these exits have been covered with soil and heavy vehicles are seen moving around this site.
These satellite images taken by the company Venter clearly show that Iran is strengthening and expanding its infrastructure across the country; with a speed that has deeply worried experts. This does not necessarily mean that they are building a nuclear bomb at this moment, but it shows that they are strongly reinforcing their supply lines and capabilities in order to be fully prepared, should a political decision be adopted.
Similar activities are also seen in Mount Khosin (Kuh-e Keling), where satellite images show the digging of deep tunnels underground. These are heavily protected sites that have been fortified against possible air strikes.
In Isfahan, Fordow and Natanz, the situation is similar. These are the beating heart of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program and, in recent weeks, evidence of new construction and an increase in security measures has been recorded there.
At the same time, videos released by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps depict Iran’s underground missile cities. These images show a large stockpile of ballistic missiles that are ready to be launched.
Satellite images from Tabriz and Kermanshah also show the construction of new access roads to the exits of underground tunnels. Also, at Tabriz Air Base, July images show that a large pit caused by damage on the airport runway has been quickly repaired and concreted so that the base can become operational again.
