BBC: Passage through the U.S.-proposed corridor in the Strait of Hormuz has dropped to zero
The English-language section of the BBC has reported that, following recent tensions between Iran and the United States, ship passage along the route proposed by the United States in the south of the Strait of Hormuz—known as the Oman Corridor—has fallen to zero.
Data from the maritime intelligence monitoring company “Kpler” shows that on June 25, about 28 vessels had used the Oman Corridor for transit, but that figure has dropped to zero since Wednesday of this week.
