Gholam-Ali Haddad Adel has said that all of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s children have had no economic activity.

He added that these individuals owned no shares and had not even opened a bank account in their own names.

Haddad Adel also said that their lives were "very simple."

These remarks come amid longstanding questions about financial transparency and the assets of Islamic Republic officials.
