SpaceX launched another batch of Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral on Friday, adding to the company’s fast-growing internet constellation. The mission used a Falcon 9 rocket and marked another routine step in the company’s ongoing deployment campaign.
The launch lifted off from Florida’s Space Coast and carried satellites designed to expand Starlink’s global broadband network. SpaceX has been moving at a rapid pace this year, with frequent missions aimed at building out coverage and increasing capacity.
The company has made Starlink one of its most active programs, relying on repeated Falcon 9 flights to keep the system growing. Each new launch adds to the constellation in low Earth orbit, where the satellites are intended to provide internet service to customers in more remote and underserved areas.
Friday’s mission continued that expansion, underscoring how quickly SpaceX is adding hardware to orbit. The launch also reflected the company’s broader strategy of using reusable rockets to support a high cadence of space missions.
