SpaceX completed another Starlink launch on Saturday, sending 23 internet satellites into orbit from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The mission added to the company’s growing low-Earth-orbit network designed to expand global broadband coverage.
The Falcon 9 rocket’s first stage returned to Earth and landed on the drone ship Just Read the Instructions in the Atlantic Ocean, marking another successful recovery for the reusable booster program. The landing supports SpaceX’s effort to lower launch costs through repeated use of the same hardware.
The flight is part of SpaceX’s steady launch cadence this year as it continues deploying Starlink satellites. The constellation has become one of the most active commercial space projects in operation, with launches now a regular part of the company’s schedule.
SpaceX has used the reusable Falcon 9 system to maintain high mission frequency while building out the broadband network. Saturday’s launch adds more satellites to that constellation and underscores the company’s continued reliance on booster recovery at sea.
