The Israeli army announced that in the past month-long operation in the Haddatha area in southern Lebanon, 20 Lebanese Hezbollah forces were killed and more than 150 weapons were found. According to the Israeli army, the forces of the 401st Armored Brigade destroyed about 90 Hezbollah infrastructure sites during the operation. The weapons found included RPGs, anti-tank missiles, and various types of firearms. Haddatha is about 10 kilometers from the Israeli border. The Israeli army says this operation was part of efforts to remove Hezbollah threats, the group supported by the Islamic Republic, in southern Lebanon.
