Yemen’s official government armed forces announced they have regained “full control” of the Al Hais district in the Hodeidah province from the Houthis.

Based on a statement by these forces on the X network, after securing the city of Al Hais and “liberating all rural areas affiliated with this administration,” they took control of the district.

According to the official Saba news agency, citing a military source, government forces also regained areas around the Al Barah intersection in western Taiz and advanced toward the Houthis’ positions, while dozens of Houthis’ forces were killed and wounded.

Al Hais has a strategic position and connects the three provinces of Hodeidah and Taiz in western Yemen and Ibb in central Yemen.
