Ukraine’s president, by publishing a message, extended condolences on the death of Lindsey Graham and announced that this U.S. Republican senator stood alongside the Ukrainian people in the hardest days of the war.

In a reference to the fact that Graham had visited Ukraine 10 times during the war, Zelensky wrote that this American senator had, in recent days as well, been working on proposals to step up sanctions against Russia and strengthen support for Kyiv.

In closing, he emphasized: “America and the world have lost a determined leader.”
