👈 Trump on Truth Social: The Kennedy Center is in a state of near collapse, and this condition has been going on for years. A large piece of concrete and steel fell from the ceiling of one of the main and heavily trafficked corridors with a terrifying sound.

If the building had been open, innocent people would have been killed. A security guard had walked through that area exactly one minute before this ceiling collapse. So, he was 60 seconds away from certain death.

A judge has forced us to keep it open, even if there are no performances and no one has the courage to enter there.

The Kennedy Center board has voted strongly to save it, and they know that I am the only person who can do it, because I have the ability to raise money and the ability to build and construct—skills that very few people have.

I also have the power and authority of the presidency, which will be necessary to do what is required and give a strong chance for a return to greatness!

Remember, when I took over the Kennedy Center, it was losing hundreds of millions of dollars. They were failing badly! This had nothing to do with me; I’m only there to help.

I only went there to expose the facts—especially those related to building safety. A very hostile and contradictory judge (what else is new?) seems to be preventing this from happening, and in that case, unfortunately, the fate of the building is toward destruction.

Isn’t that pretty bad? We’ve wasted more than 6 months in court on “pointless games.” Time is our enemy!

The board, which consists of some of the most prominent and respected people in our country, is holding another meeting today. It will be interesting to see what happens!
