🔻 By publishing a video, it has been reported that during the Bae’tsat Kermanshah and Naft va Gaz Gachsaran match in the first week of Iran’s League One football, held on Wednesday, 25 Shahrivar 1405 at Kermanshah’s Azadi Stadium, individuals stole the referees’ mobile phones, gold, and cash from the dressing room.

🔹 According to this outlet, the referees noticed the theft between the halves; the wooden door of the dressing room had been broken and the thieves had stolen all the valuable items of the refereeing team: “Assets which, according to the referees, have a financial value of more than 500 million tomans.”

🔹 The refereeing team announced that they would not continue the match or begin the second half until the status of the stolen items was clarified and until the presence of law enforcement personnel. This issue caused a 40-minute interruption during the course of the match.

🔹 The second half was held, following some officials’ promises to fully compensate the referees for their losses, but “after the end of the match, no person or official was answerable to the victims of the theft, and the refereeing team left the stadium without having obtained their belongings and in uncertainty.”
