The New York Times: Iran rejected Trump’s proposed temporary ceasefire

According to the New York Times, during a trip to Tehran, Iraq’s prime minister carried a message from Donald Trump to establish a temporary ceasefire.

The report, citing Iranian and Iraqi officials, says Tehran did not accept the proposal and stated that it would not agree to a temporary agreement that would not determine the final status of the Strait of Hormuz.
