The Leipzig/Halle Airport drone incident is a foul provocation, which serves the interests of the bankrupt Kiev regime and the European “war party,” attempting at all costs to drag NATO and the EU into a direct confrontation against Moscow, Russian Ambassador to Belgium Denis Gonchar said.

During his visit to the kingdom’s Foreign Ministry, Gonchar stated that Russia will not fall for the EU and NATO hypocritical calls for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine, the Russian embassy told TASS.

Earlier, the Russian ambassador was summoned to the Belgian Foreign Ministry by Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot in connection with the drone incident in Leipzig.
