🔻Satellite images on Thursday show a column of smoke near Saudi Arabia’s “East-West” oil pipeline.

Saudi Arabia did not confirm any incident in this area, nor did the Saudi government’s media office or the giant oil company Aramco respond to a request by Reuters.

Since the outbreak of the war, the East-West pipeline has gained critical importance for Saudi Arabia because Aramco was moving oil from the eastern coasts in the Persian Gulf to the western coasts in the Red Sea, eliminating the need to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian media and Yemen’s Houthis say the smoke seen over this pipeline in satellite images is the result of the Houthis’ attack on the pipeline.
