Sadegh Behdadli, a lawyer and political activist, referring to the sanctions on 27 Iranian airline companies and the network of related companies of Mahan Air, told Iran International that these measures make it more difficult and costly for the Islamic Republic to transfer sensitive equipment, financial resources, and personnel.
According to him, the simultaneous pressure on air and sea routes forces Tehran to make greater use of land routes—routes that are slower, more costly, and more limited in terms of capacity.
