👈Reuters: Oil prices rose by more than 2% on Monday, with Brent at $106.72 and WTI at $102.15 per barrel; at the same time, intensifying attacks in the Middle East have increased concerns about potential supply disruption.

The East-West pipeline in Saudi Arabia has remained shut following a drone attack; a development that could put up to 4% of global oil supply at risk.

A vessel was also targeted in the Strait of Hormuz and caught fire.

The increase in oil prices comes after the resumption of attacks by the Houthis on Saudi Arabia. A scheduled meeting between Iran and Gulf countries regarding the status of the Strait of Hormuz has also been postponed.
