A phone call between the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan about resolving the crisis in the region through negotiations

Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Muhammad Ishaq Dar, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, today discussed the latest developments and efforts to resolve the current crisis in the region.

In these consultations, the two sides emphasized continuing diplomatic efforts and resolving the crisis through dialogue and negotiations—an approach that in recent months has become one of the main pillars of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia’s diplomacy toward the regional crisis.

Over the past months, Pakistan has sought to present itself as one of the intermediaries and facilitators of talks between Iran and the United States.

In recent weeks, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have also increased their political and security coordination. At the meeting of the Strategic Political and Defense Committee Defense Agreement in Mecca, held on 9 Shahrivar in Istanbul, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey emphasized cooperation to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region, reduce tensions, and resolve crises peacefully.
