Pakistan is on the verge of receiving essential shipments of liquefied natural gas, after a Qatari fuel tanker passed through the Strait of Hormuz.
Based on ship-tracking data collected by Bloomberg, the Al Marounah vessel transited the strait earlier this week and will reach Pakistan by Thursday.
According to informed traders, another vessel carrying Qatar’s LNG cargo will also transit the strait in the coming days and head to Pakistan.
The Pakistani government is grappling with rotating power outages after the Strait of Hormuz was effectively shut down and deliveries from Qatar were halted.
