🔻Oman: 16 crew members of a Saudi oil tanker removed from the ship one week after an Iranian attack

Oman’s Maritime Security Center said in a statement that 16 crew members of the Saudi-owned tanker “Saider” were taken off the vessel after an Iranian attack on the ship.

“Saider” is one of two supertankers carrying Saudi oil that, according to reports, were hit on Monday of last week while passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

Saudi Arabia announced last week that the attack on the tanker, carried out against the tanker of the country’s National Shipping Company “Bahrî,” resulted in the death of two Filipino sailors.
