New figures from the International Energy Agency indicate a striking increase in oil production in Gulf Arab countries; while Iran’s daily oil production still remains one million barrels below levels prior to the war.
Based on this report, Iran produced 2.3 million barrels of oil per day in June, with no change compared to May, and one million barrels less than in February.
Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Kuwait’s daily oil production in the past month increased by 900 thousand barrels, 480 thousand barrels, and 630 thousand barrels, respectively.
The United Arab Emirates, which left OPEC in May, produced 4.1 million barrels of oil per day last month—4.60 thousand barrels more than the period before the Strait of Hormuz blockade.
