Mohammadreza Aref, First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the “Awami Empowerment and Alawi Entrepreneurship Festival” said that economic problems are “solvable,” and that the Islamic Republic has achieved self-sufficiency and influence in all areas.

Aref said: “Today we are proud that, in line with that strategy of relying on human resources, we have reached a situation of self-sufficiency in all areas and influence.”

He added: “Today, in not a single scientific field and in any process, do we need anything from outside the country.”

Aref also emphasized interaction and scientific cooperation with other countries and said that the Islamic Republic has repeatedly announced its readiness to advance scientific and technological affairs with friendly countries, in the form of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
