Mohammad Golzari, secretary of the media information council of Masoud Pezeshkian’s government, wrote on the social media platform X that the efforts by IRIB to “create a spiral of silence” about how the war is being managed and the course of the negotiations are doomed to fail.

He also wrote that removing parts of the remarks by the heads of the branches of power undermines national unity and pushes people toward unofficial sources for getting news.

Earlier, the Jomhuri-ye Eslami newspaper also, criticizing IRIB’s performance, wrote that objections to the performance of this organization are continuing and that despite apologies from managers in some cases, no change has been made to its management structure.
