Mohammad Akraminia, spokesperson for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s army, said in a televised interview that Tehran’s military doctrine has shifted toward “preemptive operations,” and that the “Sa’eqeh” operation had both deterrent and preemptive aspects.
He added that the “Sa’eqeh” operation was carried out in three stages; two stages immediately after the attack on the 8th of Shahrivar, and the third stage two nights later to complete the objectives.
Akraminia said that the operation used ground-to-ground missiles “Fath” and “Arash 2” drones equipped with artificial intelligence, and that the first missiles and drones were launched toward U.S. bases about 15 minutes after the United States’ attack.
He added that U.S. bases from Jordan to the United Arab Emirates were targeted and said: “We stand until the Americans leave the region.”
