🔸Masoud Pezeshkian said on Friday, 20 Shahrivar, in the capital of India, that America’s pressures on Iran have reached the stage of “difficult and dangerous.”
🔸Pezeshkian, before the meeting of the BRICS leaders’ summit in New Delhi, said in a speech that in recent years Iran has faced extensive U.S. sanctions, but in recent months these pressures have “entered a much more difficult and dangerous phase” with the military attack by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic.
🔸He pointed out that the world today is at one of its “most complex moments,” and called for “operational cooperation” among BRICS member countries.
🔸Meanwhile, India’s Ministry of External Affairs announced that Narendra Modi, the prime minister of the country, met with the President of Iran on Friday and discussed the “need to safeguard freedom of navigation and trade, as well as to ensure the security and welfare of seafarers.”
🔸The ministry said in a statement that Modi also emphasized the necessity of continuing efforts to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region.
