🔻 Letter attributed to Mojtaba Khamenei to Hezbollah Lebanon: Preserving Lebanon’s territorial integrity is the first condition of the Iran–U.S. agreement

Iranian media have published a letter and say that this letter is from Mojtaba Khamenei in response to the “letter of the leader of Hezbollah Lebanon and allegiance” of this group to him.

Since the United States attack on the residence of Ali Khamenei and his family on the 9th of Esfand last month, no image or audio message from Mojtaba Khamenei has been seen or heard.

According to IRNA, in this letter Mojtaba Khamenei calls Hezbollah Lebanon “the vanguard of jihadist groups” against Israel and praises the group.

The letter states that the Islamic Republic, “in line with the policy” set by Ali Khamenei, has made defending Hezbollah Lebanon its “strategic policy,” and that preserving Lebanon’s territorial integrity and the complete, unconditional withdrawal of Israel from Lebanese territory are “the first condition” of the Iran–U.S. understanding to end the Iran–United States war.
