Lebanon’s official news agency reported that the Israeli army artillery, on Thursday, the twelfth of Shahrivar, again shelled the Mansouri settlement in the south of this country.

According to the report of this news agency, the Israeli army has moved military equipment, including tanks and armored bulldozers, into this settlement.

In another report, Lebanon’s official news agency said that Israeli drones flew over the city of Tyre in the early hours of Thursday in southern Lebanon.

In at least two rounds, these drones carried out the dropping of sonic decoys and smoke canisters on the road “Al-Azizeh – Mansouri.”

The news agency also said that the Israeli army carried out explosions in the southern Lebanese towns of “Hadathah” and “Bar‘ashit.”

Al Jazeera, by publishing a report about military operations in southern Lebanon, claimed that Israel’s ultimate goal is to create a “buffer zone” that is uninhabited of residents in this region.

The Israeli army had previously announced that it was targeting Hezbollah Lebanon’s infrastructure in the south of this country and would continue destroying the organization’s underground tunnels.

The United States and Israel have designated Hezbollah as a terrorist organization.
