Last night, 200 people from Semnan attacked the dormitory of Iraqi students living in this city and beat them badly, and there are several accounts of the reason for this incident.

Iraqi media say that since Iranians thought these people were part of the Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi), they attacked them, beat them, and also took their phones.

Local media say that because they forcibly took an Iranian girl inside in order to assault her, people found out and rushed at them.

In the end, the police intervened and dispersed the Iranians.
