Judicial documents in the case of political prisoner ‘Manouchehr Falah’ have been provided to ‘IranWire.’ The case of Manouchehr Falah goes back to the events of the dawn of 11 Khordad 1402. This political prisoner was accused of, after midnight, detonating a “very small sound bomb” in front of the entrance to the courthouse building of the entire Gilan province, and of damaging the “iron door and the building’s facade.” The total damage caused, according to the expert opinion available in the case file, was announced as 15 million tomans. And on the basis of this accusation, Manouchehr Falah was first sentenced to death by “Mohammad-Ali Dorvish-Goftar,” the judge of Branch Two of the Revolutionary Court in Rasht; the case was sent to the Supreme Court; and after the acceptance of a retrial request, it was referred to a corresponding branch. But the father of this judge, “Ahmad Dorvish-Goftar,” the judge of Branch One of a Revolutionary Court, issued a death sentence again. “Sulmaz Iikder,” IranWire’s colleague, has reviewed these judicial documents and provides more information in this regard.
