Jordan’s army said in a statement that its air defense systems confronted 13 ballistic missiles that had entered Jordan’s airspace and managed to intercept and destroy 10 of them.

The Jordanian army said three other missiles fell in remote areas, away from residential areas.

In this connection, two U.S. officials told Reuters that so far no casualties have been reported in the Islamic Republic’s attack on U.S. facilities in Jordan.

Meanwhile, the Jordanian army asked the public not to approach any objects or unknown debris, not to touch or move them, and to immediately report the matter to the relevant authorities if such items are found.

The Jordanian army also asked people to refrain from spreading unverified information and to follow news and information from statements issued by official institutions.
