U.S. Vice President JD Vance announced on Thursday, 12 Shahrivar, that Washington will not enter talks with Tehran until Iran stops attacking ships that intend to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, and stressed that Iran must halt these attacks.
In remarks to reporters at the White House about U.S. options regarding Iran, when asked about arming opponents of the Islamic Republic regime in Iran, Vance said, “All options are on the table,” but declined to provide further details.
He also emphasized that the United States has “many tools to put pressure on the Iranian regime” and added that Washington “by no means” targets Iranian civilians; rather, he said it is the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps that targets civilians.
