🔶Israeli defense minister: We will respond with force if Iran attacks

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, after Iran’s attacks on U.S. military positions in the region including Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iraq’s Kurdistan region, said that his country’s army is prepared to counter a possible Iranian attack.

Katz said Israeli forces have defensive readiness ahead of Jewish holidays that begin in mid-September. According to Israel’s defense minister, Iran has targeted various parts of the region besides Israel so far, and there is a possibility of an attack on Israel.

Katz warned that if Iran attacks, Israel will respond “independently of other countries and with abundant force,” and that this country’s military aircraft are ready to take off.
