🔺Israeli defense minister: The Islamic Republic may attack during Jewish holidays

◾The Israeli defense minister said his country is preparing for the possibility of an Islamic Republic attack during the Jewish holiday period and that it will respond with significant force if it is targeted.

◾Yisrael Katz said at the “Time to Decide: Democracy and Society” conference that the Islamic Republic “wants to attack during the holidays.”

◾In response to a question about the likelihood that the U.S.-Iran exchange of attacks will spill over to Israel, Katz said: “The prime minister and I follow this daily with the Israel Defense Forces, sometimes in the middle of the night on the red phone. We don’t take any information lightly. We don’t want to be surprised. We are prepared.”

◾He added: “If they attack us, we will respond with immense force, independent of anyone.”
